Meet Julie Cochran
After graduating from the University of Dayton, Julie spent about 10 years working in the business offices of several manufacturing companies. Then the time came for her to share her creative talents, so she began her career with Decorating Den Interiors – just over 35 years ago.
Julie works with clients throughout the greater Dayton area to make their interior spaces unique and special. Some projects have been small and some have been large, but every job receives Julie’s utmost attention. Throughout the years, she has received multiple design awards and has been published in design publications. Still her greatest goal is to create beautiful, yet functional spaces while respecting her client’s budget and preferences. The relationships she has nurtured with clients and colleagues have brought her much joy and satisfaction.
Because Julie has always lived in the Dayton area, she feels a deep connection to her community and neighbors there. She volunteers her time with projects associated with the Dayton Society of Interior Designers (DSID), the Centerville Noon Optimist Club (CNO), and with her local church and schools.
Julie lives in the south Dayton area with her husband, Ken. She enjoys running, hiking, biking, boating, and rooting for UD Flyers basketball. But most importantly, she values the time she spends with her children and 12 grandchildren.
